$150 Disassembly and Inspection Fee
A $150 non-refundable disassembly and inspection fee is required before teardown begins.
This fee covers:
- Initial inspection
- Complete disassembly
- Cleaning required for evaluation
- Inspection of the rotors, gears, bearings, shafts, seals, snout, and housing
- A final service recommendation and quote
If you approve the recommended service, the $150 fee will be applied toward your final invoice.
If the supercharger is too damaged to rebuild or you decline the recommended work, the fee covers the teardown and inspection labor and will not be refunded.
Once disassembly begins, the fee is non-refundable.
Complete Supercharger Rebuild
Our rebuild service includes the labor and normal service components required to return a serviceable supercharger to proper operating condition.
Depending on the model, service may include:
- Complete disassembly and cleaning
- Housing, rotor, gear, shaft, and snout inspection
- Replacement of serviceable bearings and seals
- Coupler inspection or replacement
- Rotor timing inspection
- Genuine Eaton supercharger lubricant
- Reassembly and final rotation check
We use genuine Eaton parts only. We will not substitute questionable generic rebuild components.
Starting prices cover normal rebuild labor and standard service components. Damaged rotors, gears, shafts, housings, bearing bores, bypass assemblies, pulleys, snouts, seized hardware, or other major parts are quoted separately.
Supercharger Porting
Porting is available to improve airflow through restrictive areas of the supercharger housing.
Depending on the application, work may include:
- Inlet porting
- Outlet porting
- Smoothing abrupt transitions
- Blending casting restrictions
- Matching openings to an adapter, manifold, or throttle-body configuration
- Removing unnecessary material around restrictive sections
Each housing is evaluated individually. Porting is performed with airflow, rotor clearance, housing strength, and the intended application in mind—not simply by removing as much material as possible.
Specific horsepower gains are not guaranteed. Results depend on the complete engine combination, pulley ratio, inlet system, intercooling, exhaust, and Tune.
Rotor Coating Add-On
Rotor coating is available as an add-on to a rebuild or approved standalone service.
The existing rotor condition must be inspected before coating. Rotors with severe corrosion, contact damage, peeling factory coating, worn surfaces, or mechanical problems may require additional preparation or may not be suitable for coating.
Rotor coating cannot repair:
- Damaged bearings
- Improper rotor timing
- Bent shafts
- Rotor-to-rotor contact
- Rotor-to-housing contact
- Damaged gears or bearing bores
Standalone rotor-coating requests may still require inspection and preparation charges.
How It Works
1. Send Us the Details
Before shipping, send us:
- Photos of the complete supercharger
- Casting or identification numbers
- Original vehicle or application
- A description of any noise, leakage, damage, or known problems
- Your intended engine and power goals
- The services you are interested in
2. Receive Approval
We will confirm that the supercharger is supported and provide shipping instructions.
Do not ship a supercharger without prior approval.
3. Pay the Inspection Fee
The $150 disassembly and inspection fee must be paid before teardown begins.
4. Inspection and Final Quote
After disassembly, we will inspect the supercharger and provide a final service recommendation.
If additional damage or unavailable parts are discovered, we will contact you before continuing.
5. Approve the Work
If you approve the service, the $150 inspection fee will be credited toward the final invoice.
If you decline the work or the unit cannot be rebuilt, the disassembled components will be returned as-is unless otherwise agreed.
Shipping Requirements
Superchargers must be:
- Drained of oil, coolant, and other fluids
- Reasonably clean
- Securely packaged
- Protected from impact during shipping
- Shipped without loose accessories unless requested
Customers are responsible for properly packaging and shipping the unit to SwS Motorsports.
Return shipping is included in the cost of any service within the United States.
Additional charges may apply for expedited shipping, insurance, special packaging, oversized units, or locations outside the continental United States.
Units That May Require Additional Work
Additional parts or labor may be required for units with:
- Rotors that have contacted each other or the housing
- Broken or excessively worn gears
- Cracked or heavily modified housings
- Damaged bearing bores
- Bent or damaged shafts
- Severe corrosion
- Seized or broken hardware
- Improper previous machining
- Missing internal components
- Parts that are no longer available from Eaton
We will not install questionable aftermarket components when genuine Eaton parts are unavailable.
